Tom

Great job, Adrian! I'll definitely be checking out her book.

I thought her comments about drawing real animals being key to drawing imagined animals was very interesting. I've always appreciated imagined animals that actually look like they could function in the real world. Simon Roy is an artist that I think does a great job of doing this to create some really original looking creatures (albeit many times grotesque and terrifying).

(Thanks, Tom! It was a great panel and Terryl definitely got me wanting to work more on learning to draw animals after I got back home from SFAL2. It's my goal to learn to properly draw decent horses one day soon. -- ADRiAN)
